The Magic Word IP
August 2nd, 2012It is really interesting to see how many people either checks either their own IP addresses, or tries to learn the geographical location of others’ IP addresses regularly, several tens of times in a single day. With a +60m searches, my ip, or where is my ip, or what is my ip searches hold a decent position. After setting up a Turkish website for such queries, and managing to get a modest position in search engines, I decided to give it a try to an English version. I even got machine translations for the English text, and added pages in other languages as well. So, my ip page become “cual es mi ip” in Spanish, “meine ip” in German, and “mon ip” in French.
I am planning to add more & interesting features, and update it regularly. I am even searching for a good script to add a question and answer script so that visitors to my site can ask questions related to ip searches, ip hiding, anonymous surfing, proxies, etc. and some other, more experienced users can answer to these questions, resulting a mini social network internationally. So, good luck to my new site.
